Reviewed By MAM1020The room was large and clean but it was missing furniture, hotel would not accept letter for outgoing mail. They said hotel doesn’t send out their own mail. I was to receive a fax from the US and I gave the sender the hotel fax number that was on the website, the hotel key and the stationary and when I went to pick up the fax, the front desk said they no longer had a fax. The “gym” was also very subpar. There is no coffee machine in the room and it took two calls and 30 min to receive extra towels.

This business trip I decided to try Domun based on the TripAdvisor reviews and the location. The check in was quick, the front desk staff was OK. Parking is spacious. The restaurant and it's staff is amazing; very attentive and willing to make sure you are comfortable. Food quality and options are better than any US-based chains I've had in QRO. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. I will stay here again.

The worst hotel in Qro
Reviewed By zayde1709So, I booked a couple of nights to enjoy time with my boyfriend’s family, and we didn’t know this would be the worst. At night, as I was turning down my bed to go to sleep, I found a pair of cockroach legs in the sheets. It should be noted that there is no phone in the room, so my boyfriend called from his room to a call center of the Mission hotels, where he complained and asked to change our room, to which they replied yes and gave us no further response. As we gathered our things and waited for someone to arrive to change our room, half an hour passed without any response. My boyfriend and I went to the reception, where we were not asked for an apology or anything, the receptionist simply told us "take your key and bring me the other one", in a rude and haughty tone. NO ONE CAME TO HELP US WITH OUR BAGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS. After that, when I checked the new room I found that the blankets were dirty with a dripping liquid, we were very disgusted, but we were already tired, cause all this happened at 1 am, so we just decided to take off the blankets and just sleep. In my opinion, there are much cheaper and better quality hotels in San Juan del Rio, than this one; if you are planning to stay here, think about it and don't do it; the cleanliness really leaves much to be desired, and even more with this covid issue, is it that they don't even change the sheets and sanitize after a guest leaves the hotel?

Reviewed By cawthonkarenaWe absolutely loved our recent stay in Queretaro! La Casa del Atrio was our home base for about a week, and we throughly enjoyed every moment of it. Every room is different and lovely, furnished with antiques and an eye for sumptuous detail. We had two suites, and all of us slept like babies. We took advantage of the opportunity for a couples massage (I cannot remember our masseuses' names, but they were great!), and it was just divine. The breakfasts are large and delicious, and can be served at any of the tables throughout the property. My husband is recovering from a recent hip replacement, so we really appreciated the layout of the place. Easy for him to get around, which was very important to us. The location is terrific; pretty much in the middle of everything, but so quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. But the real gem here is the staff. Fabian could not have been more helpful and sweet; anything we needed, he made it happen. Also Sarah and Monica, Jesus and Raquel. Thanks so much for a much-needed holiday!

Reviewed By Yomera2014This is a fantastic place for meetings. The staff and the services are first class, under any circumstances, even lockdowns. The participants only had praises for me and the hotel after the weekend: great food, great staff and they enjoyed the pool as well. Overall, they appreciated that we had our reunion in a place that takes a lot of care about their safety, and you can see that they were rigorous on sanitization and safe distance. Registration, room service and ordering at the restaurant were done through apps, but even with the safe distance, the warmth from the staff was there all the time. I was pleasantly surprised about how professional and fun a meeting can be even in Covid times. Needless to say, my party got back home safe and healthy.

Hotel in the middle of nowhere with impersonal service
Reviewed By Excursion26505961760The hotel follows Ibis quality standards in terms of maintenance and cleaning. It is located near the Querétaro's main bus station, connected to it by a walkway, but I think it is not safe to go through it. It was necessary to take a taxi or uber to go anywhere in the city. In most cases, the service was cold, impersonal and not very hospitable. Unfortunately, I would not say that I felt welcome in this hotel as I felt in many Ibis Hotels all over the world.

Reviewed By Wendy SAfter an unexpected travel change, we were booked at Hotel Mirage. It was great! The location is good and a 10 or 15 minute walk from historic downtown. At night you'll want the hotel to call you a taxi, but walking in the neighborhood during the day is fine. There is a good quality onsite restaurant and also a bar which we did not visit. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help with a travel issue that arose.

Reviewed By spflea1951This hotel is probably the best option for a Jalpan stay. It is clean, the beds are very comfortable and the location is unbeatable. The restaurant is good although the restaurant service is somewhat slow, particularly at breakfast. Definitely great value for the money.
