Wine and food pairing masterclass learning about how food and wine work together. Hosted by our Group Sommelier or Winemaker, guests will learn about how food and wine work together and what styles of wines works with various types of food. The wine and food masterclass revolves around six dishes and wine pairings that in total will be the equivalent to a full meal. Allow 90-120 minutes.

Blend your own bottle of wine with the winemaker or group sommelier with wine to take home. You will work with the Winemaker or Group Sommelier to blend up your own bottle of wine. You will learn about the various elements that goes into blending a bottle of wine, things like whole bunch, pressings and half-whole bunch and the art of getting the mix right. You get to bottle and seal your own unique blend, label it, and have it signed by the winemaker! A fun, yet informative session that combines wine tasting with wine making principles.

This full-day tour combines the stunning scenery of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with some of the region’s finest local produce. The first stop of the day is a scenic lookout to take in the stunning views of the National Heritage-listed Glass House Mountains, then onto the dairy town of Maleny where you will sample a selection of local and international cheese. From Maleny, you’ll head to The Barrel, an iconic destination, shaped like a giant wine barrel on the grounds of Clouds Vineyard Maleny for a flight of wine tasting, then onto the quaint hinterland village of Montville via a scenic lookout to enjoy free time to peruse in the shops and boutiques, pick up local hand-crafted items and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Whilst in Montville, you’ll also visit Chocolate Country where you will experience a luxury handmade sampler box (one per couple) of chocolates before making the scenic return trip down the range via another stunning scenic lookout back to your accommodation.

Tableland Trails offers private, small group tours that can be tailored to suit your needs. We operate with only 2-5 passengers, making your tour very personal. We pick you up from your accommodation as we make our way up the Kuranda Range to the Tablelands where, together, we explore the delicacies that the Cairns Hinterland has to offer. Please note that we only stop at Rainforest Bounty if we have 4 or more passengers on the tour. We also only stop at Gallo's on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Here we enjoy our lunch basket with local wines. Third, George Gibson founded the Central Coast Winery Pty Ltd in the 1970s with assistance from his son Peter. Together they experimented with varieties of winemaking from using traditional grape to assorted fruits and vegetables and honey.
