Tow Hill Provincial Park

Reviewed By MrMrsW50 - Brecon, United Kingdom

The road access from Masset is partially unpaved, but easy. The hiking trails are well marked, you can go all the way to the top of Tow Hill, about 1km, or you can go halfway, then track right to the blowhole, or stay on the level and just go to the blowhole . We did the whole circuit, about 3 kms, and the views from the top are worth the climb. If you can do it all, it’s very rewarding.

The climb to he top is almost straight up so be in good shape to attempt. Took us 2 hours to the top but was well worth the climb! Trail is very well marked and the descent is much quicker than the climb.

I made several visits to the Information Centre during my week in Queen Charlotte, and Skye was extremely helpful every time - whether guiding me about hiking trails, local artists, or restaurants, she was eager to inform. She helped make our visit a success. The Centre itself is attractive and well laid out, with a fine assortment of souvenirs, local art work, and guide books.
