Chose this tour company thru my canadian travel agent. Excellent choice. It was a private tour. Our guide, our driver my husband and I. It was a good choice considering the covid 19 epidemic. From beginning to abrupt end of our tour we had excellent knowledgeable guides and top drawer accommadations. The tours were well planned and gave us a good understanding of their homeland and what made them proud. We had time to investigate things on our own as well. Unfortunately we had to leave one week early but plan to return one day. We would not hesitate using this company again. We are in our 60's and our activities met our abilities. Felt safe and well informed with necessary changes. We were given a refund for places we were unable to go to

we have booked cruise through Rubicon Tours with 2 days 1 night program. Rubicon Tours' staff are so friendly and they seem to be really knowledgeable about Halong Bay area and cruises in there also. So they recommended the cruise extremely fit in our favorite. The cruise is not only large, luxurious, beautiful design but also craftsmanship with private balcony, comfortable lounge chairs and a table... I definitely recommend this tour!

First place named "TITOV ISLAND" where you can swimming or playing on sandy beach with excellent backdrop or climb up mountain for a panoramic view of the Bay. Second place named "SUNG SOT CAVE" where hide out in the beautiful Caves Walk and is one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes of Ha Long Bay with a lot of nature of stalagmites and stalagtiles with different shapes of sea lives, then go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.

Contacted by text day before to confirm pick up. New air conditioned small coach with large reclining seats and best of all free wifi which worked quite well for the whole journey. It takes some time to get there from Hanoi but apparently the express way cuts the time considerably. We saved an hour on another group who had come a more circuitous route avoiding the toll road. (It took us close to 3 hours) A stop at a tourist pearl factory was the only bump in the road but we got cold drinks and used the bathroom so there was a positive. Through the ferry terminal and onto the boat. Each group assigned a table where the food is brought out and placed in the middle. Felt a bit squashed in the seats eating with several others but food was local and good. Stopped at a an island we walked up the steps to the top of the karst, others stayed on the beach for a swim. Back on the boat after 40 mins and then off to another island. Double sit on kayak for us and through a cave into the centre of the island to see the monkeys climbing in the surrounding jungle. (Others were rowed in in a larger skiff) Kayak was stable but we did chose new paddles as some of the others were obviously damaged. The life jackets were wet but that just helped us cool as it was an extremely hot day. Back to the big boat and a slow ride back to ferry terminus. Long trip back to Hanoi. Glad we did it, would have been so sad to not visit this extremely beautiful area because of a long bus journey.
