Overall it was great experience to visit this magical town. 2 hours from Puerto Vallarta.

Enjoy a wonderful tequila tasting in Puerto Vallarta, the Jewel of the state of Jalisco, which is the tequila capital of the world. Mexican law requires that tequila be produced only in Jalisco, and limited regions in a few other states. Here, tequila has an international place of origin designation, similar to Champagne in France. For the tastings, you'll try only tequilas made from 100 percent blue agave, cultivated in Jalisco which has ideal growing conditions for the agave plant. There are three different Tasting Experiences, each with a different level of experience and expertise in mind. Decide which one is best for you and have a great time learning about the passion for this magical elixir.

We had a wonderful time tasting tequila paired with chocolate. It was such a fun experience and the unique chocolate flavors paired perfectly with the tequila. This was also the most educational tequila tasting I've done, and I felt like a tequila expert afterwards. Definitely worth doing! If you like chocolate and tequila, you'll love this tasting.
