Reserva Provincial La Payunia

We went with Payunia Turismo (payuniaevt.com), they are great, they give you advice and recomendations helping you to fit any activity to your trip, they also give you some discount tickets for the city. To visit the reserve a guide it's required. We booked the whole day at Reserva La Payunia, they pick you up around 8:30 and you can expect to get back around 20:00. The whole route its on a bus with several stops, one of them for eating (because of pandemics you have to bring your own). There are only restrooms at the park rangers cabin, so make sure you take advantage of that. Bring a lot water , and enjoy the beautiful landscapes you won't regret any picture even the blurry ones. After the visit they take you for a free coffe to the Llano Blanco geopark, where you can hire a one hour walk by the mountain or just sit there and relax for a bit before get back to Malargue.

Hang-gliding is one of many activities offered at this 865-acre park which houses a zoo and national science museum and is replete with beautiful walkways.

In the peak of the summer heat in Buenos Ares this Park is a sanctuary with its peaceful grounds, cool shady trees and virtually Quite yet close to the city and action. Beautiful biking and walking trails, lake, and birds. I had a full day of fun visiting the park, the added bonus a free wifi to stay In touch. Very nicely kept and super clean. The irrigation system is also based on old Inca methods.

Beautiful daily walk if you want to explore Parque General San Martin and climb up to Cerro de la Gloria. You can go by foot all the way (not for everyone), on a bike, or maybe just take the bus if you want and hop off at the monuments base. The General San Martin monument was closed to the public, so was the toilets at the top (hope they fix everything soon), anyway the view at the top its breathtaking and worth every step of the way.

Astonishing place, just 1 hour from Mendoza city, if you can go by car is better because you can freely choose between stops and the distances are far for walking. On the other hand you can take a bus (AR$81 by ticket) and hop off on the second stop (the first one after Cacheuta). The Dam itself its a marvelous lake with blue waters and high mountains you can see the Aconcagua from certain places. It becomes the perfect activity for a whole day, pack some food, beverages and a speaker if you want, invite some friends over and enjoy. Just be cautious of the sun there is no shading. Some spots has kayak and other rental activities for the day.

El Camino de las 365 Curvas

Reviewed By Bezi - London, United Kingdom

This is the road that Darwin travelled on (there is a plaque by the road in memory of him). Passed Villavicencio the road is unpaved but in good condition. We saw very little traffic (which is a good thing) and what we did see were motorbikes. The road is very twisty and they call it the road of the year as it has 365 curves in it. Great scenery and you will see wildlife, we saw foxes, condors and loads of guanacos. Most traffic seems to go from Villavicenio to Upsalatta, I say this as we didn't meet any traffic coming the other way. Eventually to get to a look out point where the road splits and a section goes to the observatory. On a clear day you will get views of Aconcagua. There is the usual cross there and after that it is all downhill to Upsalatta. About half way down you hit (not great) tarmac again. Definitely worth doing if you have a car.
