Highly recommend a Pottery class experience with Mark and Alan at Tradpots. You get to throw three pots (bowls, vases, jugs, it's your choice) under the expert tuition of Mark and Alan. It was great fun and I'm actually really pleased with the pots I've made. Looking forward to returning to paint them once they have dried. Our party consisted of three mums and three boys aged 10-13. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon. If you're looking for an unusual activity to do, you won't go wrong with this one!

Very interesting visit to this museum on a rainy day. Entry is free but donations are welcome - they even have a nifty contactless donation point. It was a very rainy day in the town and this offered shelter and some lovely displays on local life, from home life to industry, trade, and wildlife. Some lovely interactive displays, including a pirate story and the magnetic tiles.

This place is ideal for children of any age, especially the under 12s. Staff are superb and helpful, there are so many activities such as cow milking, goat feeding, pig racing, handling a guinea pig, a tractor ride, adventure playground, several flavours of ice cream, a restaurant with hot and cold food, bouncy castles and so on. We went with 2 year old toddlers and early teens and we all had an amazing time. Entrance fee is not cheap but do ask for what discounts are on. Once inside, some activities require an additional small charge.

Lush Spa Poole

The birth place and first ever store of Lush Cosmetics! With our Spa next door and exclusive products that can't be purchased anywhere else, we are a must see for every Lush fan.

I read a couple of the lower scoring reviews for Lush Poole and I would just say that to leave negative feedback for not being able to get in on a Saturday due to work commitments is completely unfair to the business and can only be a positive to show how popular this little gem of a place is. Booking for us was easy, and we arrived on time (another gripe of a reviewer who did not!!!) staff on arrival on shop floor all super friendly. Spa staff all equally lovely and what a lovely atmosphere you are transformed into once you go through the spa door. Full bathroom with Lush products to use before or after your treatment all super clean. Vintage themed and tastefully decorated with fresh flowers and a pretty outdoor courtyard to enjoy your after spa refreshments for the warmer months. I'm sorry I might have eaten more shortbread than I should! I found it an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back. Thank you Lush Spa Poole.
