I am not a lido fan. There is something unattractive about the way the beauty of Italian Beaches are brutalised or obscured by armies of sun beds. If y want to escape that and find a little bay that is free and untouched this is for you. We are here mid July and there were maybe 20 on the beach - chilled and beautiful. Driving from Peschici you pass Cala lunga then there's a dirt track on the left, exit here, park in the first area then walk for a little ( sing to ristorante thea) then there's an open gate on the right, go through and in five minutes you're there.

We loved this small, clean beach and will definitely visit it again. It's got a part where you can hire deck chairs/sunbeds (expect to pay €10-15), however also a free beach. For lunch or drinks you can go to the bar/restaurant on the beach or to the trabucco that is appr. 200 meters away.
Parking costs €5 per car.

A certificate of excellence? Not sure what others are seeing in this beach that we missed. Standard Italian privatized beach, with deck chairs and umbrellas covering almost everything. The water wasn't particularly clean, and there was zero movement to it. It didn't strike us as particularly scenic, neither the beach or the water. Overall, it felt like maybe the most artificial beach we've ever been to.
If you're looking for this type of family-friendly, mellow beach, recommend the wide bay immediately adjacent to and south of Vieste.

Ha una sola via di accesso, che è un sentiero che parte dalla spiaggia di Valle Clavia, e dopo passaggi molto suggestivi ti affacci sulla Baia Jalillo e si vede come l'uomo lotti con la natura per poter guadagnare qualche metro di spiaggia in più. Ma l'alta marea non la fermi e per goderti un po' di sole rimane solo una piattaforma creata ai lati del bar.
Peccato che l'incuria di persone incivili sporchino con plastica e vetri questo angolo meraviglioso

The castle houses a museum of instruments of torture and punishment and the collection is both comprehensive and helpfully explained, with some of the signs in English. There is also a small viewing platform over the sea and the location is quite spectacular. Centrally located with a very reasonable entrance fee.

I just wanted to thank here Mino, owner of this camping, because he took time to take us from bus station in Peschici to his camping by his own car. Very enjoyable.
His camping was perfect for us. Not so expansive. Very well located. With all we were looking for. No problem.
beach and camping were (very) crowded in last august, but that's the way it is over there.
we could enjoy the "trabucco da mimi" which is 20 minutes away walking>one of the best place on earthe to eat.

We took the boat from Vieste and in just over 2 hours you are in a tiny paradise. The trip is mainly made by Italians, but nevertheless it's worth doing for everyone! It is fun to take the boat in your swimming wear also around the Islands just to see the nature, caves and Padre Pio under water, which all together make this location so special. The water is unbelievably blue so for sure pack your goggles and just enjoy the Beaches! I would really recommend everyone to make the effort but don't forget to already put your swim stuff on pack also some warm sweater because the wind at sea can be a little chilly.

Es una playa tranquila para un buen descanso, con algunos restaurantes e instalaciones de baños. En uno de los extremos hay una gruta con restos prehistóricos.
