Le Centre est situé à cent mètres de la gare de Perpignan, lieu emblématique de l'univers dalinien. Dans un ancien entrepôt rénové et transfiguré, se mêlent en un original contraste les poutres de bois centenaires, le verre et le métal d'aujourd'hui. Sur 1400 m² d'exposition des espaces imposants ou des volumes plus « intimes » s'organisent sur plusieurs niveaux, bannissant la monotonie et offrant à l'oeil du visiteur des échappées sur les oeuvres exposées aussi bien que sur la structure elle-même. Harmonie et symétrie se conjuguent pour mettre en valeur tous les courants de l'art contemporain. Créé en juin 2004, le Centre est une institution à but non lucratif, dont le but est de promouvoir l'art contemporain sous toutes ses formes.

There is currently an exhibition showing the styles of Rodin & Maillol. If you love sculpture then this is not be missed, I would dare you to choose but they are both amazing scupltors. The Musee also has a range of other atrists displayed on the next level.
