We visited here with our two year old and she loved it. She wasn't amused with small under 3's area for long so we wandered with her on the bigger areas. She needed help with getting up and down but there was so much to climb and explore she loved it. You get two hours for the price which was good as normally it's just one hour. It got busy but as long as your supervising your children ( still shocks me how many don't ) then your fine. The food could be a little more exciting but fine for kids and the diluting jug is very good value for money. I would def go back.

Spend a day exploring Penicuik House and the wonderful grounds and walks. The building itself is historically important and there is plenty of information available if history is your thing. Rangers are available in the afternoon to give access and answer questions. It is set in the most wonderful countryside with walks and plenty of places to see and spend some time contemplating and soaking up the views. Overall a wonderful afternoon spent.

Very friendly staff, barman brought our dogs a bowl of water first which I loved. Very helpful from the outset. Lovely food, freshly made, fresh food and good prices. Many thanks to the chef. The three of us and the dogs enjoyed the experience and will be back again.

took my grandsons here ,,,, deary dear !!!
the eldest is 12 the youngest 5 ,,,, and the activities and decor are the same as the first time i went ,,, and it smells like it hasn't been cleaned properly since the first time i went ,,,,,,
Thankfully the kids never noticed ,,, and just got on with running around playing, which was the main reason for being there ...
Unfortunately, i came out wanting a shower!!,,,,, to wash away the smell ,,,!
i know that some of the smell was down to ,,, accidents i.e. juice spillage ,,, but the dampness and the staleness was unbearable ,,,, maybe people would bye more food if that were the enticing smell, you could smell ,,, but alas no !!
the food was reasonable, the staff were helpful , and the toilets were clean ,,,,it's just in need of a long over due, upgrade,,,,,, maybe that would get rid of the smell !!!
