Babusar Pass/Top is the highest point at an elevation of about 13,700 feet at the border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan provinces of Pakistan. The road is fully carpeted, wide and useable for all kinds of vehicles. Very beautiful sceneries on both sides of the top are waiting for the visitors with cold breeze even in chilled summer.

Shahdara Valley

Reviewed By Hamidmangat

This was the place not to be missed as the water was so pleasing and the weather was awsome. Overall cleanliness was not that impressive. You hve to sit in the water on chairs and local Beds (Charpai), kept in water. Water was so cold. Summer is the best time to visit. Some pakora and tea shops to offer some good tea. Take open shoes like slippers and extra clothes for children along with your own snacks. Mostly full on weekends while weekdays are good if you want to feel the calmness. Family is safe there, some singles guys also take bath in the water but family sitting area is usually not disturbed. Must visit for all locals and those coming to see Islamabad and neaeby places.

Mahodand Lake

Reviewed By blogby_aws - Lahore, Pakistan

A jeep track of about 3 hours from Kalam. The first destination of this tour was the Ushu Forest. Almost 4 KM of road in between the forests presenting the views we dream to be at while watching those Romantic Movies. From there we headed to a small village Matiltan after which the Mahodand Lake road starts. We kept on moving on the Jeep track with ushu river flowing on our left side throughout the journey. In the way are the beautiful Mighty 22 Falls. The picture doesn’t tell how beautiful this place was. Reached Mahodand Lake at about 2:30 Pm. The place was Lush green with a lot of Horses and Cows. #Nature The wind was cool in-fact we had to wear our Thin jackets even at that hour. We enjoyed the lake covered with Mountains from all ends for 2 hours.
