Nabiac Farmers Market

Reviewed By pursonalmail - Nabiac, Australia

I can think of no better way of spending a Saturday morning than going to the Nabiac Farmers Market. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the stalls of many and varied but most of all, quality. I stop and get a freshly squeezed orange juice from the certified organic grower to start my day. I then buy my duck eggs for the month, shop at one of 4 different plant growers, buy my flowers from Lyz at Kinspirit irises and day lily farm. The musician they have there are very good too. It is without a doubt THE BEST market (and I have been to them ALL) on the mid north coast. The range of stalls, the quality of produce and goods and the atmosphere make this the best little market around! After the market check out the ops shop and the gorgeous shops and cafes in the village centre.

My wife and I had a great time at the distillery. I had low expectations for the rainforest tour, but it turned out to be really good and quite informative. Our host Elias did a great job. The gin tasting and information session (on the distillation process) was also really good. Thoroughly recommend this as an activity.

It’s less than 35 minutes drive from Port Macquarie, you arrived at a hidden gem winery where they offer wine tasting and you can buy a few to take home. They had a cafe shop too. The Maze is also an attraction of the Bago Winery. Took us 30 minutes to find the way out. Must visit.
