Thank you Olivia for a fantastic day out. We enjoyed the lovely village of Lagrasse and the abbey. We were overwhelmed with the beauty of Fontfroide Abbey. It is the best preserved abbey I have ever visited. Tresor Languedoc tours makes everything enjoyable and easy. Air conditioned car and Olivia was excellent with history / answering my questions.

David, the guide, was great. He is really flexible and allows you to stay as long as you want at any site. He is knowledgable and is great at sharing some of the mythology surrounding the construction of some of the sites you will see. The tour is varied - some beautiful old villages, a gorgeous lake, a little walking through some amazing rock formations to some viewpoints and a stunning old abbey. Make sure you wear shoes that are decent for some walking! And pack your picnic lunch to have by the lake. I was surprised that I was the only guest on the tour. So many of the region's guides won't do a tour for only one person, and David did not even raise the price! The tour is excellent value, and very enjoyable! Beware that the starting point is a little outside the centre of Montpellier, but it is an easy tram ride to get there.

We went on the 2 hour tour of the old and new city. It was brilliant fun (despite falling off - no lasting damage ????). The guide was really knowledgeable and passionate about the city which made it even more interesting. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Montpellier, particularly for a short period of time as you can whizz around and see all of the main attractions in no time at all.

We had a lovely day going around the region, visiting wineries and tasting (a lot of) wine. We had a top notch guide (ask for Nicolas) who taught us so much about wine in the cote du rhone. He answered all of our questions and was very entertaining and helpful all day long. We visited two wineries in the morning, had lunch at a picturesque castle and two more wineries in the afternoon. In between, our guide gave us lots of information on wine and the region in general. You will get plenty of wine during the tastings. There is no pressure to buy although you can if you want to (you will probably want to :)) Highly recommend if you appreciate wine and want to lear more about wine in this region.

Great day spent with Remy, visiting first 2 wineries (10 wines sampled before 11am!) and learning a bit about Cezanne. After a break back in Aix, we took off again for the villages. The villages (3) we visited were cute and different, so it was fun to explore each. Many precautions were also taken (re: COVID) - there was plexiglass in the van separating the driver and the 2nd/3rd rows. Everyone wore masks and people who didn’t know each other didn’t sit near each other. Very enjoyable day and would definitely recommend!

3 1/2 stars. We drove around Salut for 5 - 6 hours looking for lavender fields. I was disappointed we did not visit Roussillon. On Tripadvisor’s itinerary “Roussillon: Stop 45 minutes” was written, so I expected we would go both Roussillon and Gordes then spend time on lavender fields, but it was different. Since it’s August, we didn’t visit Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque, neither. It’s good the guide was knowledgeable and knew so much about the lavender.
