Marche de Cahors

Come any Wednesday or Saturday morning--all year round--and you can experience this wonderful market. You can put together a fabulous picnic for the day from the roast chickens/ducks on offer, the delicious fruits and vegetables, and stop at any of the nearby bakeries for that fabulous pastry for dessert. At the foot of the Cahors Cathedral, it's amazing to realize this market has been in operation for centuries!!

Marche Victor Hugo

Reviewed By Martyjojo - Newbury, United Kingdom

We came here late Friday lunchtime so it was quietening down, places shutting but a few bars to stand and quaff wine at which we loved. Food looked amazing so if you are in the city, have an Airbnb and can cook this place worth buying from. We then ate lunch at one of the restaurants upstairs, place buzzing!
