Instagram has made world really small, being in Jaipur i picked up an amazing cape from RENASCI Chennai, such fabulous packing done responsibly, it came wrapped to me in a stitched cloth bag. Which i patiently opened ;) I loved the stuff as well, can't wait to style it. Whenever i am in Chennai, i will be surely looking up to visit the store to explore her entire collection.

Visited the Kingsley location of Kanakavalli. Initially difficult to locate from main road, but once we entered the drive way very easy to navigate. Beautifully restored mansion and gardens. Enjoyed walking around the mansion and seeing the beautiful restoration work done. The display of the sarees, textiles and blouses gave a very relaxed experience of shopping here. The beautiful colorful Kanchivaram sarees, pride of South India have been given the centerstage in this mansion.The staff are very courteous. Ms. Ahalya is a very gracious and spent time discussing about her passions. Overall a very unique and ethnic experience.
