I booked this lesson for my sons 21st birthday to share with his brother.from the time of booking to thee finish of their experience the customer care was really good .The facilities are good plenty of hire kit ,showers and towels and lockers for those having lessons and right on the beautiful beach .parking was easy and pretty cheap £6.80 for all day. Also lots of amenities near by. The instructor Karl was superb his instruction just great ,It is rare to find an instructor who really loves what he does and he was so enthusiastic, energetic and encouraging they had an inspired and enjoyable afternoon.Karl was professional and able to judge their ability and skills accurately and progress when possible. My boys have come away with the desire to pursue this sport further at home and hope to return to the academy at some stage to improve once they have practiced. As aa coach of sport myself I can not reccommend Karl a and the academy enough. He was superb value for money £180.00 of expert skilled instruction for 3 hours a bargain. Also thanks to Karl who went above and beyond with his time and although he was fully booked fitted my boys in again at the end of a long day so that they could finish their qualification. If visiting Watergate bay book in you will love it.

I had a fab 3 hour painting experience with Jeanni on Mawgan Porth beach. Jeanni is a truly inspirational teacher who is so willing to share her wealth of knowledge so generously. Her unique, fun teaching style made painting look so simple and doable even for a complete novice like me. She has inspired me to explore painting further and I'm looking forward to our next class. Thank you Jeanni! If you are in the area do book a class with her!

Booked this site as a base to learn to surf at nearby Watergate Bay from, as an alternate to a surfing holiday in Santander, Spain. It was just what I’d hoped it would be. The site is small and friendly and perfectly maintained, with generous sized pitches, a well stocked shop full of local produce and a very clean toilet block. Tanya and Andy struck a perfect balance with their COVID 19 safety measures, so the site remained safe and spotlessly cleaned without impacting on the guests enjoyment. Loved being able to hire a chimera complete with set up, logs and fire lighters. Massive thank you too to Andy, who along with another camper, rescued and repitched our gazebo which went for a fly one afternoon whilst we were out!!
