DM Weil Gallery

Available to view Mon - Thurs by appointment. Please call the gallery. At over 3,000 square feet, DM Weil Gallery may be one of the largest modern art galleries in New York's Hudson Valley. Just a short drive from the center of picturesque New Paltz, DM Weil Gallery offers the look and vibe of an exclusive Soho style exhibition space, but with the majestic Shawangunk mountains as a backdrop. The eye-popping abstract creations of acclaimed painter DM Weil -- has been praised by critics and collectors alike, the gallery's mission statement remains, "Why Can't Fine Art Be Fun?".

Do not miss DM Weil gallery if you are in the New Paltz area! Donna's art is absolutely stunning--vibrant, colorful, joyful, radiating light. Donna works on premises and it is so special to hear her talk about her wonderful art on display. Donna, Sammy, and Ken are so sweet and welcoming, as well as incredibly knowledgeable with regards to both the art and the many printing services they do in house. This was a wonderful place to spend the afternoon, not to mention I picked up the most unique hand-painted overalls!

Twin Star Orchards

We are currently open for outdoor dining, delivery, and pickup Friday-Sunday. Taste our award-winning craft hard cider and our menu offers the best wood-fired pizza outside of Brooklyn (and Naples!), locally-sourced burgers, and fresh-baked cider donuts. Our farmstand offers free cider tastings, cider to-go, and local specialty provisions. We also have a great selection of New York cider, wine, and spirits and pick-your-own “ugly apples” - which will be available later this season.

Making our way down the NY Thruway from VT to the Poconos. Needed a break and found this gem outside of New Paltz with quick internet search. The orchard provides apples for Brooklyn Cider and there is a tasting room in the big barn. On the weekends, however, they fire up a grill and a wood oven in the pavilion cooking up burgers and wood fired pizza. $5 for a bottle of cider and $10-15 for a local beef burger or crispy wood oven pizza. Since we couldn't decide, we got both and shared. Had to limit to one cider tho since we were going to be back on the road. Otherwise we'd have stayed the rest of the day. there was a good breeze and a three piece band playing some solid bluesy rock tunes.

Jenkins Lueken Orchards

Reviewed By Albany_Wayfarer - Albany, United States

I have been eating their apples, especially their Northern Spies, and loving their cider for longer than I care to calculate... Fabulous apples ... and stunning cider. As the season lengthens, the apple varieties go from sweet to complex, crisp, and tart. Jenkins Lueken Orchards presses the consistently, most wonderful cider. Transitioning through the autumn, It actually displays a genuine bouquet, when freshly opened. Try to arrive early, as they often run out later in the afternoon.
