I had saved this shop without realizing it was the same one I visited yesterday! Fabulous experience in every way! A few of us purchased thankas yesterday. Learned so much about how to distinguish quality in the paintings and feel confident we made really amazing purchases. Very excited to get mine framed and displayed once I return home! Thank you again!!

Sauraha Art Gallery

Sauraha art gallery is run by a local artist Ram Krishna Bhatta. You can visit the gallery to view his true love and dedication to art. He firmly believes this is what he is born for.

Pop in and introduce yourself to Ram Krishna, watercolour & acrylic artist & gallery owner. A very warm welcome, excellent English speaker, lovely family, wide variety of painted topics... walked away with an elephant watercolour for way too cheap. Ram aims to complete 1 painting per day and often sits outside the gallery painting for all to see. Well worth a visit and making a friend.
