Went with my partner at the last minute. We called Becky who explained they were very busy but would do her best to get us in the next day. She rang back as promised and got us in which we really appreciated.
My parter is very experienced when it comes to Kayaking. I am not! I'd done an hour before we went and was somewhat apprehensive... I should've have been.
What a great bloke Reuben is. He kitted us out and we spent threes hours on the lake, it flew by. Played games, explored local nature, had fun and was soaked and shattered by the end but it was the best day of our holiday.
Reuben and Becky are running a great place and I'd highly recommend. They have given me the Kayaking bug and we hope to return next year with me more up to speed!
Thanks guys, it was great.

John Hanly & Co Ltd Factory Shop

Reviewed By Jilldutoit - Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Visiting Hanly's is like taking in a big gulp of fresh air - it was one of the high points of our visit to Nenagh. It is so encouraging to see that an Enterprise started in the late 1800's, is continuing production of their precious fabric right into the new millenium.
Many small mills like these have folded from the onslaught of cheaper imports, more's the pity. We were so impressed with both the quality and the variety of the fabric available, from the bright jewel colours of the weaves, to the muted tones of the tweeds.
When these material are crafted into gifts, then that is a double bonus as far as I am concerned.
We were attended to by a charming lady who didn't mind showing us around and gladly answered our questions.
I was also pleased to discover the user-friendly website, which will facilitate online shopping, but I am more than pleased to have had a "real " shopping experience, in a very special place!
By the way, the factory shop is easy to find as it is well signposted!
