The best thing to do in this lovely small town is to take a stroll along this waterfront and enjoy the quiet beauty of the mountains and lake on one side and beautiful gardens/landscape on the other side

Come for a restorative soak in the mineral pools after taking a hike on the many trails in the surrounding area. Stay at our cozy Chalets or in our Campground for the full experience. Visit our spectacular Kuskanax Creek Footbridge just a short walk from the Hotsprings. The source of our mineral water and original site of the Hotsprings are also accessible by hiking trails. For the more adventurous, try a day hike to the beautiful Kimbol Lake.

We love Nakusp Hot Springs because it is so clean and bright, and the view over the mountainside from the water is exceptionally beautiful. It's a simple place, not pretentious. Everything is fresh and clean, and their simple snack bar offers great coffee and good food.

We’ve been coming to MacDonald Creek for 4 years for al Mom & Daughter get away. We love relaxing on the sandy beach and although have been disappointed a couple of years because the lake has been high - it was perfect this year. The facilities are first rate and include free showers - and the water is warm! The campground attendants keep the place pristine. The new 2 km hiking trail at the far end of the campground is a wonderful addition. The town of Nakusp is about a 10 minute drive in for supplies and there are a few good restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. There is plenty to do and see in the area. We look forward to our annual stay at MacDonald Creek provincial park to get away from it all.
