One of the things I love about Thai parks like this is that the public actually takes advantage of them! Gorgeous parks in my hometown are often left lonely because people just don't get out. Here, people are running and walking around the track, having picnics, etc.
The lake is beautiful and the Bridges going across it are great. Very very nice park.

Wat Kiriwong Nakhon Sawan

Wat Khiriwong as it is spelt on google encompasses a large area but the actual place to visit is Phachulamanee pagoda. At the top of the hill it gives a wonderful vista of the surrounding area. Personally I enjoyed the visit and as a working temple it seemed to be the usual with the exception it was free which is nice to add. Quite compact which limits photo opportunities, but lots to see none the less. You need to walk up a flight of steps to enter the temple and go up to level 4 which is another 3 levels as Thais count the bottom level as the first and this includes stair climbing which might not suit some elderly people. A pleasant experience for me.

I was surprised to see a high quality temple hidden in the outskirts of Muang Nakhon Sawan. It is truly stunning, unfortunately there is some construction work on nearby buildings but the temple is completed.
There is also a lake with small restaurant, views are great.

I liked this Temple. It is the one on the hill you can see from many parts of town. Great place for photos and to just wander around and contemplate. There is food and drink available up there and it is easy to get to.

Nakhon Sawan Tower

As you arrive at Wat Khiriwong basically go up hill, which tends to take you to the left because as you enter the Wat English sigh posting is limited and very confusing. If you follow the narrow winding road you will reach the tower. You can get at least as good views from the temple a short distance up the road but that involves climbing several steps so this has the advantage of having a lift/elevator which involves no climbing. Inside if you wish, and we did you can choose to walk up the spiral stairs which have 8 levels and 20 steps apiece; to my surprise I found I was actually getting dizzy! On the 2nd level there is a small shopping area and you can buy ice cream and the like for whenever you get up top. Once there you will be treated to a 360 degrees vista of Nakhon Sawan and on a good day you will see some hills, it is a rather flat piece of the world here! An entry fee of 20 Baht for Thai people and the same for foreigners, well done Nakhon Sawan Tower. All signs are in Thai script only. Recommended.

Bo Ya Cave

A bit out of the way, but if you have your own transport, then is pretty straightforward. There are quite a few steps to get to the entrance of the cave.
Quite a large cave with a temple inside and outside.
Can easily spend 30-60 min there. Some nice rock formations with bats inside as well.
When the air is clearer (March is very hazy from burning fields) would have some decent views from the top where a large statue is.
A few large temples in the area as well, but they are scattered everywhere up north in the countryside.

Bueng Boraphet Aquarium

I came to know about this aquarium from Jeb Hogan's Megafish tv show. He described it as the best place to see giant Southeast Asian Freshwater fish and I was not disappointed when I visited it in December 2013. Catfish, rays and snakeheads were the highlights for me.
The facilities are adequate at best, primarily because it caters to a large volume of visitors on weekends and school holidays. But it is well worth a visit for families because children can feed the fish in the lake behind the aquarium and there's a theatre with an interesting crocodile show across the lake. If you want to see a man riding on a crocodile and putting his hand and even his head into its mouth, here's the place.
