About eight miles north west of Morpeth. A delightful private garden with the National collection of Centauria. Pleasant staff and a good nursery with some unusual plants for sale as well as their own Honey. Honesty tea and coffee and cake in a barn. Well worth a visit. We loved it.

A great place to go at any time of year. As well as an interesting house there is extensive woodland, excellent river walks, beautiful formal gardens plus you can watch wildlife (often including red squirrels) from a comfortable hide.
