We spent an afternoon walking around Porter Preserve and it is an absolute gift to the area. There are so many scenic views, sweet benches to rest on and wonderful tunnels through the thick trees. We loved exploring here.

This is a wonderful hike. Took about 2 hours. Mostly easy trails with a few steeper sections along the rocky coast. So worth it! Just gorgeous. Well marked too.

Oven's Mouth Preserve

A great place for easy hiking trails and picnics for family fun.

We very much enjoyed hiking Oven's Mouth. Lots of nice scenery along the way (the only way I will hike). There are many roots and rocks, so you need to have careful footing. We had walking sticks, and I was glad I did.

Bates-Morse Mountain Conservation Area

Reviewed By albion223 - Acushnet, United States

On a Sunday morning my wife and I set out to walk the preserve. Joined by many fellow hikers we could appreciate first hand why this place is so popular. The path is easy to navigate, the scenery changes over n over as you traverse through forest, river inlets, and mountain views until opening up to the Atlantic Ocean at its conclusion. A beautiful away to spend a few hours of your time...
