Here at Mersea Island Watersports we are Mersea Islands's first and only dedicated windsurfing and paddleboard centre. We are based right next to the water with a launch ramp a stones throw from our door. This gives us access to the water at all times. Being based around the side of the island we are fairly sheltered making it the perfect place to learn windsurfing or paddleboarding.

Mersea Island Cookery School is in a beautifully restored barn, with views across the Blackwater estuary. The school offers a fully equipped kitchen with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We have a wide selection of day courses; from essential skill classes such as pastry and baking, to seasonal entertaining and cuisine from around the world. We also offer classes for those with special dietary needs, such as vegetarian and gluten free. If you are looking for a private class, whether it's for a special occasion, or just a good excuse for friends to get together, we will create a bespoke class around your interests and needs. We also offer corporate days, whether you are looking to celebrate an occasion, reward success or boost morale, our corporate days are fun and provide an excellent setting for your team to bond. Lady Grace Boat Trips operates all year round. All Trips must be booked and paid for in advance to secure your trip. Trip options available are as follows: 20 minute trip round Packing Shed Island 1 hour Creeks Excursion 2 hour Wildlife Trip 2-hour Picnic Trip 3 hour return trip to Bradwell or Tollesbury for lunch 4.5-hour return trip to Bradwell to walk to the Chapel Evening return trip to Bradwell or Tollesbury for dinner in one of the local pubs and return trip over sunset
