A real medieval castle, good value and at just 1 euro the guide gives a potted history on all 30+ rooms and the various artefacts within them, as you would expect for something this old not wheelchair friendly.

Our timing was perfect as we pulled into the port and directly onto the ferry. Within 5 minutes we were underway and 15 minutes later we were driving off the ferry. Quick, efficient and much faster than driving around the lake. We paid just over 20 Eur for our car (a station wagon) and 4 people. We waited in the car and did not go on the upper deck but we were told that there is a shop where one can buy drinks and snacks and there are also restrooms.

This musem was a nice surprise! The old building was carefully restored amd houses an exciting display of different aspects and the history of wine (not wine making). Modern technology and interactive displays tell the story. If you can get a guided tour, do so, the guides are extremely knowledgeable, far beyond the museum. You can also taste different wines from the region.
