Discover an idyllic hill town in the Italian region of Marche where houses and palaces of weathered brick and pantiles cluster around steep narrow streets, surrounded by misty mountains and green and yellow hills, like the background of a Leonardo portrait. Maybe you didn't know it but, because it is on the opposite side of the Apennines to the more famous Florence and Siena, Urbino has been half-forgotten by tourists and art lovers. What a shame! In its time – the 15th and 16th centuries – Urbino was one of the cultural capitals of the Renaissance and it also represents, even now, a quite unique and picturesque university town. During this private your you'll explore the famous University of Urbino, Piazza del Rinascimento, the church of San Domenico, the dome, the monumert to the great Raffaello and the beautiful Ducal Palace.  Get ready to take amazing pictures of this real hidden Italian gem!

We were having such a great time connecting with her that our time went by so quickly. We’ll be requesting her for future tours in the area, for sure. We’ll also be returning to the palace now that we have a better understanding of its history. Treat yourself to this very special experience!

Why choose us? Because no other boat in Numana can offer the same tailor-made and authentic sailing experience, without sacrificing comforts, like cushy seats, food, music, and a freshwater shower. This is both an old-fashioned and classy choice for an unforgettable tour. Our boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers, which means that every trip will be intimate and planned according to your own desires. We will be free to look for the quietest spot to drop anchor, away from the most populated beaches. Along the way you'll be able to see how a traditional sailing boat is rigged and manoeuvred, and if you want you'll be able to try your hand at the helm. We stayed in the Agriturismo Terracruda for one week with a group of friends with kids and the experience was incredible. They have 4 complete apartments very well decorated and on top there is a common kitchen and a wonderful garden with a pool. When you are outside you see the wine yards and the mountains. As the Agriturismo is inside the winery we also did some wine tastings and visited to the wine cellar and yards as they were running a special event in that week. It was spectacular and we really appreciated their wines as well, specially the sparkling and the white ones. We were treated warmly and the owner Luca did above and beyond to prompt respond our requests. What could be improved is the disposition of the common kitchen and the air conditioner that is not strong enough to serve all the rooms as the apartments are quite big. Anyway, we loved the experience and certainly we will try to come back!

Good overview of the city especially with small children. The English tour on headphones was very difficult to understand because it was read by and Italian with a strong accent. It would have been much better had it been read by an English or American person without an accent.
