Haus the Bistro; Very good for two tables of 16 people and two babies. Enjoy the photos. Second comes the food review further below but first some advice. Q-Trip: Early reservation works because day skiers in for a beer crossover resident dinner seekers. Thank you Dianne. Q-Trip: Skip the whiner line for the true super skinny on the skiing from old Owl season pass-holders; The conditions have never been better. Top ski writer buddy says the last 3 visits to OH were best ever. He reported with amazement that Oso Bucco is the table d’hôtel. The secret of Owls Head other than the most beautiful view in the east cannot be overlooked with massive hill improvements in snow making, grooming, chair and trail improvements. Nice hotel rooms too. The food ... - Short Rib was excellent along with Couscous Salad, House Pizza and Burgs ... a pass on the onion soup. Skip the whiner elsewhere although service here was slow because we were slow getting the order in BUT all of us enjoyed the company time and getting a great meal. - Golf on the screens? Let’s add some winter stuff on the show to give the hill a go ... minimum any hockey. Not game shows. Suggest vintage ski films like the Stanford College connection to Sun Valley, the Olympics, WW11 and everything Vermont. The Ski Museum in Stowe has historic films. There’s other super stuff out there with log length skies and one long pole that most people have never seen ... get it on.
