we visited just after the Government lifted restrictions for museums and historical places ,operating an one way system and hand sanitizers in place. we went on a hot day and the walk through the wooded area was lovely and cool with some benches available to seat on which was nice. A must see is the fountain which turns on every hour absolutely fantastic sight , the ruins was also great it must had been a wonderful sight in it's days. Also a great area for a picnic if you fancy a nice cup of tea and cake then take a visit to the cafe.

Knapp & Papermill Reserve

A beautiful 27 hectare nature reserve of orchard, meadow and woodland nestled in the valley of the Leigh Brook.

We visited whilst on holiday nearby. The Reserve is in a beautiful, peaceful location, due to this parking is a bit limited but we did visit during the school holidays. The trails are well marked with items of interest. In addition paths led off to various other locations. During our visit quite a number of volunteers were at work on various project. A previous visitor had remarked about school children "stomping around in wellies" WELL good for them and full marks to their teachers I say, there's plenty of room here for all to enjoy and great for children to learn whilst being outdoors. Very well worth a visit.

Great Malvern Priory

Wonderful parish church, originally a Benedictine priory. Having largely escaped the depredations of the reformers and puritans, many early details remain, including the spectacular 15th century stained glass windows. Much to admire and enjoy in this lovely place. Well worth the visit.

Malvern Theatres

Malvern Theatres is proud of its standing as a leading centre of artistic excellence in the West Midlands. Since opening as the Malvern Assembly Rooms in 1885, it has undergone many changes and is now home to two theatres and a cinema, boasting an impressive range of critically acclaimed theatrical and cinematic productions. The 850 seat Festival and Forum theatres regularly host world class touring plays, musicals, operas and ballets and have become a hotspot for pre and post West End productions. The Forum, along with the recently refurbished 300 seat cinema, comes equipped with the latest cinematic technology to enable live screenings of productions around the world. The theatres are run by the Malvern Theatres Trust, a registered charity, dedicated to ensuring the success of the theatres and maintaining the building for future generations to enjoy. By choosing to visit, you are helping to ensure that this much loved theatre remains part of the community for many years to come.

I have been here about 10 times now and each time, it has not failed to impress. The bars are well staffed for that pre-theatre drink but if I have to comment, the theatre's café/restaurant is too small for the venue - a lot of folks would love to eat here before the show but space prevents this. There are lots of places to eat near by however. The theatre is slap bang in the middle of town with lots of places to have a bite to eat and a drink before, during and after each show. Staff are very friendly and willing to help wherever they can and due to its size, every seat has a good view of the stage. They get a number of tour plays and pre-West End ones, live music is also catered for although they tend to have tribute bands rather than the real thing.
