Bruno knows his way around the small streets to amazing spots in hidden towns. I was amazed with his knowledge on food, port, and local history. He found hidden olive oil spots that also had honey which to die for. I didn’t give him much time to prepare but he was still able to do it and what an experience! He loves his job and it shows in how he shared his knowledge of the area.

In the Douro Valley the roads are really windy and narrow in many points. On your own you would take much more time to arrive to the locations, and you would be struggling when you should be only enjoying your tour and stay in the Valley.
