Bruno knows his way around the small streets to amazing spots in hidden towns. I was amazed with his knowledge on food, port, and local history. He found hidden olive oil spots that also had honey which to die for. I didn’t give him much time to prepare but he was still able to do it and what an experience! He loves his job and it shows in how he shared his knowledge of the area.

Hello, My wife & I were a part of this small group tour with another Brazilian family.Our guide was Micael Neto.He was very friendly & very approachable from the start of the tour.He drives well & is able to communicate his point in English.We personally preferred the Aveiro part to Coimbra.The Costa Nova beach & the light house were fantastic.The Moliserro cruise is an experience one should have.We had lunch & Avos Moles at the Market Square at Cafe Pixinho.The Coimbra tour was mainly a university,cathedral & the market square. Speaking personally about Micael a few incidents which stood out for me, a)He found a restaurant in Aveiro which serves vegeterian food for us. b)In Coimbra when the others were busy in the university he took us to the Botanical Garden & Cathedral. c)He helped us plan the rest of our trip in Porto & Lisbon with his suggestions. d)He even recommended places to have vegeterian food near our hotel. e)He ensured that each members personal interests were taken care off during the tour.He made it a point to understand our likes & dislikes.Eg.He made it a point to show me the storks nests & the Dragao stadium. In the Douro Valley the roads are really windy and narrow in many points. On your own you would take much more time to arrive to the locations, and you would be struggling when you should be only enjoying your tour and stay in the Valley. You also lose a good part of the landscapes, because you can't be driving and looking around safely on these roads. With only one day to see Porto (which is not nearly enough), we were thrilled with the tour. My favorite was the trip to the lighthouse at sunset, which was spectacular. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and showed us all of the top sights. Then he dropped us off for the dinner/fado show (which was pretty cool too). He picked us up again after the show and delivered us back to our hotel. Overall, one of my favorite evenings on a two week European tour.

My friend and I hired Travel VIP to drive us around the Douro Valley for all day excursion. The price was affordable. The car was impeccable. The driver, Tiego, was friendly, unbelievably knowledgeable, and accommodating. We went over our time and were not charged additional fees. We had such a good experience, we hired the company to drive us to the airport and the fee was exactly the same as a taxi/cab. Use this company if you need transportation for a tour or just a ride to the airport.
