Mae Hong Son (Thai: แม่ฮ่องสอน, pronounced [mɛ̂ː hɔ̂ŋ sɔ̌ːn]) is a town (thesaban mueang) in north-west Thailand, capital of Mae Hong Son Province. It is in the Shan Hills, near the border with Burma along the banks of the River Pai. As of 2005, the town had some 6,023 inhabitants. The town covers the tambon Chong Kham of the Mueang Mae Hong Son district. Mae Hong Son is 883 km north of Bangkok and 251 km north-west of Chiang Mai.

A pure motorbike adventure and an intrepid journey through the real Asia. We had an amazing trip through the mountains and valleys of Laos. Shane and the team were well organised and had lots of useful information on the region, history and some great hidden gems. A trip I will never forget!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the all-day "Doi Suthep & Inthanon National Park Day Tour". Our guide, Maggie, could not have been nicer. She was genuinely excited to share her knowledge and love of Thai culture, history, and religion as we visited the beautiful temples and nature sites on the tour. And she's a great photographer to boot--she knew exactly where to set up the best Instagram-ready shots, if that's your bag. The van was quiet, comfortable and air-conditioned and our driver Ut navigated the sometimes windy roads without raising my pulse rate. The tour included a hearty, delicious Thai lunch in a lovely local restaurant at the foot of the Inthanon hills. Even though I had to catch the overnight train to Bangkok right at the time the tour was due to end, Maggie made sure that we were able to see everything without ever making us feel rushed. We had plenty of time for relaxing, souvenir hunting, and sipping delicious northern Thai coffee. We're already planning a return visit to go on one of her hiking tours!

The giant Buddha statue is a MUST to visit the in Phuket. But try to go in the early morning as the sun will rise facing the Big Buddha and you can get a nice picture of the Buddha with clear blue sky behind.

We did a Bangkok temple tour and visit to bridge over the river Kwai. Pete was our tour guide and he is exceptional at what he does. He is very well known within the trade and if you’re with Pete you are a VIP. Kom was our driver and shuttled is to and from airport and our adventures! He is a great driver I would not want to drive there!

It's been almost a year that I've spent a several days in Chiang May, as a solo female traveler. I found Joe on internet and every day we went on some trip. I write this review to say it is a good choice to go with Joe as he is knowledgeable ,good English speaking, punctual and polite.I can truly recommend him.
