There is a lot of statues and murals. You can learn a lot regarding the Buddhist culture here, taking photos if you like.
Quite a number of hawker stalls here, selling local food and drinks.
No admission fees require.
Recommend visit at night.

The RAHMAT Maritime Museum

This is the type of tourist attraction that you don't go to everyday so it's worth having a look when you are in Lumut. However there are some serious issues that stop me from giving the highest recommendation.
Considering that they are charging an admission fee, there doesn't seem to be much spent on maintenance. The inside is stuffy and the air feels stale. Many parts are rusty. There is also a serious safety issue. In other countries, safety precautions are usually in place. There were no security guards and safety structures in place and considering that we saw children playing around, the place is just waiting for an accident to happen.
That aside, once you get on top, you have a nice view of the seashore. You can also sit on the captain's chair.

3D Art Galleri Sitiawan

'If you are not with them , art paintings are not completed.' 3D art gallery contains images designed so as to manipulate the eye of the visitors whereby visitors can experience the images and illusion. Take yourself into part of it and immerse yourself in the scene.

i just got back this morning. stayed one night there with my family and friends all together 12 people
the tents they provided to us was terrible. all tents are side by side which u can hear the next tent people snore.
the tents are extremely dirty. they never do the clean up for the next visitor!
when we got in the tent. tent was full with sand! pillow with hair on it!
u cant even breathe in there!
we choose to sleep at the beach...but dont be fancy about it since the waves will get near around 4 in the morning!
toilet and washing place is terrible!
they take in 300 guest to share 5 toilets plus shower place!
think how congested in there!
no flush! think u have to clean your body with the dirt in the toilet!
u have to take 300 meters to go to toilet!
think how we go in the middle of the night!
eating place is far away from the tent!
we have to walk around 700meters to the eating place!
the path is muddy!
2 snorkeling trip was included!
dont be happy ...since the sea water is even dirtier then the place we stayed!
the safeguard are young! the youngest is think is less then 15years old
they dont even supply medicine for the visitors that got hurt!
the most precious moment is seeing the blue tears...let me tell you..
dont get cheated by the photos they posted in face book!
we merely see any blue tears!
just dont go there!! u will be regret for your life!

We went during a long stretch of holidays recently. The place is well maintain but definitely needs more tourist traffic. Slight off the Lumut main bazaar, it offer nice view of the bay. Plus side, do visit KD Rahman Maritime Museum. It's worth a visit for warship buffs.

Pangkor Island Luxury Cruises

Enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise or day cruise with lunch/dinner to Pangkor Island on the luxury 38' sailing catamaran

Reviewed By martinSinSyd

We were lucky to have a week of mostly Sunshine and were able to explore quite a bit of Lumut and Pangkor Island. But the 2 day 1 night trip we booked with Heather and Rod on their catamaran was the the absolute highlight of our short vacation.
Pangkor Island is beautiful and we enjoyed our scooter rides there but seeing the island from sea gives it an extra dimension. We stopped in a lovely bay, had a great lunch on shore, lovely dinner on board and then slept amazingly well in the comfortable cabin. There was a nice breeze and we never felt hot or seasick.
After a hearty breakfast the next day we set off to another lovely deserted beach where we went for a swim and snorkel.
Rod and Heather are great guides and a lot of fun to talk to. They are both very experienced sailors and "showed us the ropes".
The only downside was that we couldn't spend more time on the boat but we will definitely go for another sail next time we are in Pangkor.

Quiver Dive Team

Reviewed By Shervin S

First, this is the LUMUT branch of Quiver Dive Team, NOT the Pulau Perhentian branch which is in a completely different city and location (though both share the same web address).
On the Internet, I had read that diving visibility in this area is not good. I was very impressed with the honesty of the dive operator, because the first thing he told me once I contacted him was "you know visibility is not good here?". Anyway, I was extremely lucky, because on the day of diving visibility was not only much better than expected (see photo qualities), but I also saw lots of marine life, including seahorses, spider crabs, and barracudas :)
Their dive package actually includes 3 dives per day, so it's really fun-filled. Full equipment hire is only 50RM extra per day. The equipment was average, but safe. Mask was excellent and never fogged.
The dive master was very friendly, enthusiastic, and paid attention to safety. The food (included) was great for a boat day-trip. Service was excellent in general.
If you go with them, make sure they take you to Farewell Rock. This site has the best visibility and the most marine life.

Mangrove Swamp Park

Reviewed By sannythl - Penang Island, Malaysia

The wooden path walkways are rotten, rusted nails exposed, some plank wood are missing, including the staircase to hanging bridge.
Some parts have metal pathways beside wooden pathways, but you can feel it is soft, not sure how much weight it can support.
The notice board says you are responsible on your own safety. With all these hazards, I don't recommend you to visit this unless you just want to see monkeys at entrance.
