The Cheese Shop

Great to find a gem of a shop on a visit to forage Lincolnshire foodstuffs. Excellent selection of local Britsh and European cheese. Great owner who really knows his cheese and very generous with his time and samples. If you are within 25 miles it's well worth the detour. Oh ! and the pastries were scrumptious !

Hubbard's Hills

Hubbards hills are a secret mini alps, superb walk through the woods then up the paths to the top, fantastic views, then return via the river to the little cafe, No wonder Louth has kept this place quiet and to themselves. Wonderful for families.

Went for a mooch just to see what they had, I had missed this place during lockdown. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and ready to answer any questions. On this day I didn't find any treasure but myaughter bought herself the perfect sized corner TV table, she was very happy and even did just a little haggling ????

The Greenwich Meridian Louth

Reviewed By ValerieT541 - Louth, United Kingdom

You can follow the Greenwich Meridian Line three times in Lincolnshire. Cleethorpes, Louth and Boston. Louth has sighs in the Gatherams explaining all about the Meridian Line. The line does not pass through the middle of Louth, it passes more to the west nearer South Elkington. There are 2 places in East Gate Louth where the line is marked across the pavement. It then travels to Cleethorpes, across to Spurn Head and over the North Sea to the North Pole. In the other direction is travels through Greenwich over Europe and Africa to the South Pole.

Came here today with my family and young children, it was Sunday lunch that was on and it was packed, I know that the full menu went on as meat was low from Sunday lunch! There was a few of impatient customers that wanted the food out straight away even when it states all home cooked, land lady and staff dealt with the problems in the best manner despite the attitude they was getting. 100% reccomend this place for food and drinks, the new owners that haven’t been in very long are totally changing it around for the better. It’s the place to be and very welcoming! Well done guys
