What to do and see in London, England: The Best Bus Tours

October 6, 2021 Russell Mellin

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

An amazing service from start to finish. From the moment Martin arrived at our door until our return we were treated to a unique experience. Even though we live in London Martin provided insights into the city of London that were new to us. He was so informative about the history, however at the same time was able to communicate in a way that engaged us all (this included two teenagers!). I would totally recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the sights of London but also learn about the history behind them. The tour is based around your requests so it is bespoke to your needs. Thank you Martin for enabling my son to have a wonderful Birthday during lockdown.

This is the very best way to see the London Christmas Lights. The Lights are mainly in London’s vibrant West End, along the iconic shopping routes such as Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street. We also see superb lights in Mayfair, Trafalgar Square, the Thames Embankment and Westminster. The car is an electric powered 6 seater, with a glass, panoramic roof and is solely for the use of your group. We can stop wherever you like for photos and I have a fabulous route planned out, which we can alter as we go along to let you see whatever you like. I am an experienced London Cabbie and qualified Tour Guide, so I’ll tell you loads of interesting facts and stories about London too.

Totally brilliant tour. Dave’s knowledge is 2nd to none and the whole experience was fun from start to finish. We met some real east-end characters that made the day that little bit more unique. I would definitely recommend Hop in hop out tours and this particular tour and will be booking another experience as soon as possible. Thank you Dave for a super super day.

The Wales tour was a great experience made much better by our excellent guide Rob! It was a difficult one as travel restrictions in Wales were announced on our third day. But Rabbies was quick to make alternative arrangements in Cotswolds and covered the additional cost of bookings. We have been to some magical locations which we would definitely miss on our own. Rob was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic to help, friendly and flexible making everyone feel involved. All in all, it was the highlight trip of the year!

Fantastic - even for a muggle this place is jaw dropping. This was our third visit and we will be back before the year is out . You can actually do this trip yourself by public transport from Waterloo to Watford Junction and then there is a free shuttle coach to the studios and it will end up costing you a fraction of the price. Just to say I have not used this service so I am not reviewing the service given by Premium tours .A family ticket cost €132 for 2 adults and 2 children and then the extras are just the train fare. If you are on a budget I would recommend exploring this option.
