What to do and see in London, Canada: The Best Food & Drink

January 16, 2022 Major Galusha

You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

Labatt Blue is my favorite beer so this was a cool bucket list visit for me. The buildings, the town, the brewery, the people, the tour guide.....every element had character, charm, history, and energy. Highly recommend taking the time to book this tour.

Forked River beer is so great we pronounce it “Keg Worthy”. Wide variety to choose from in the tap room, when social distancing relaxes. We frequently purchase the blonde ale by the keg, it is that delicious. Definitely worth stopping by.
