What a lovely zoo. Project based zoo, saving and rescuing animals , is located in the hills of Saint Martin la Plaine. 40 mn from Lyon by road. They host animals from lions, tigers, gorillas, a nice vivarium, and many monkeys of all varieties Wolves and bears and more. It s worth the visit, but be ready to walk the hills. You can easily spend 4 hours without noticing

A super port for the winter, in a town that provides all the services need when working on your boat. Local super,arkets in walking distance, and the capitainerie is manned Mon to Fri 0900-1700 except for lunch. Your mail will be delivered to you and the president of the port is involved and inviting.
