Portuguese Connection is a Portuguese Language School for foreigners located in the heart of one of Europe's most exciting cities: Lisbon! Our language lessons focus on communication. We emphasise role-plays, learning activities in a real context (street, cafes, markets), debates, oral presentations, etc. Students are encouraged to interact with their classmates and their teachers.

Created in March 2017 by Maud Tephany and Ursula Duarte, Sedimento is a creative ceramics studio. Sedimento purpose is to conceive new ideas for personal projects or orders production, challenging its experimental approach of techniques and materials. The studio offers seasonal ceramics workshops, for people of all levels.

Cook & Corks provides real Portuguese culinary experiences ( hands-on ), Portuguese tastings and Craft Beer Experiences. All classes in english and based on local products.

Lusa Language School offers Portuguese lessons for foreigners. The school is located in Cais do Sodre, in the heart of Lisbon, offering classes both onsite and online. Lusa school is committed to delivering high-quality and personalised classes, according to age, background, and learning needs. We teach dynamic classes which encourage students to learn how to use their Portuguese in real-life.

Retrosaria is a knitting and sewing shop specialising in heritage wool yarns. We have our own range of locally sourced wool yarns, made from the wool of Portuguese native sheep breeds. We also offer yarn by many leading companies, knitting and sewing tools, fabric, etc. We have workshops on saturday mornings. We are located on the second floor.

We love food, and believe that we can use it to create and experience unforgettable moments. That’s why in 2017 we opened the Lisbon Cooking Academy, a school where everybody can learn and share their food experiences, always in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. We love to have guests from all over the world to share with them the best of Portugal’s rich and diverse gastronomy.

More than a cooking school, LX Cooking is an invitation to discover the flavors of Portuguese gastronomy. Between pots, dishes and cutlery we share and make recipes in an environment that invites relaxation. And in our kitchen never misses typical ingredients of a traditional Portuguese table: a glass of wine, a good conversation and an informal and intimate atmosphere that makes us feel at home surrounded by friends. Andre Lopes is the Chef &Host of LX Cooking. As professional Chef likes to share his passion for Portuguese cuisine with people and cultures from all over the world. It is no surprise, therefore, that in his “gastronomic passport” show cookings performed from north to south of the country and cooking classes with people from more than twenty different countries. He is also a member of the Vizeat website and has received in his house dozens of tourists who, through their dinners, have known and tasted Portuguese food dishes in a cosi way.
