Wolds Wildlife Park

Sitting down to eat our lunch, while watching the lions parade around and roaring was just amazing. We got great views of all the animals there and had plenty of space to get good positions to watch the animals. The park is still very new and you can see there are areas being developed further, so we look forward to watching their development and visiting again in the future.

This is a great place to go if you want a day out or just for a few hours, there are plenty of picnic tables available if you want to bring your own food or there is a cafe which is priced reasonably. The animals are well looked after and easily accessible for all individuals. Would definitely recommend others to visit.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

Visitor Attraction of the Year 2017 / 18. A truly wonderful attraction that is quickly becoming the pride of Lincolnshire, situated just 15 minutes from Skegness. Set in over 20 acres of wonderfully planted gardens the animal park is a registered charity that is home to a vast array of animals, housing one of the largest collections of Parrots in the World and is the UKs largest group of Tigers. A Great Day out for all of the Family

Reviewed By vessey2 - Lincoln, United Kingdom

Visited the park on 27th September at the request of my son for his 6th birthday, we visited last year for a tiger experience and we loved the park and the experience was incredible and worth every penny. The park is very clean and well laid out with Covid measures. We purchased the food to feed the parrots, meerkats and birds. My kids favourite place is the aviary where you can go in with the birds and they land on you to get the food. We travelled an hour and half to get to the park and stayed for about 4 hours, was a great day and will book again. We will book another experience when they start them back up again!!

Me and my partner spent a few hours here for my birthday on the 12th and we loved it! Our favourite part being Chutney, the baby seal, wishing the little one a quick recovery!! Great day and great value at approx £8 pp and the gift shop was reasonably priced too, I got a lovely keepsake for my Dad who recently passed as we used to come here together as a child. Highly recommend.

Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre

Visitor attraction and falconry centre with over 100 owls, birds of prey and native British wildlife, plus flying displays, hands-on experience sessions, animal adoptions, gift shop and more.

After visiting the centre a few years back we have become very frequent visitors. With such a great variety of birds and wildlife on show, and the collection being added to, its a great place to spend a few hours. The flying demonstrations are always great to see and always very informative. And each year a new team of birds is used to keep things fresh. We have participated in a few of the flying encounters now and they have to be our favourite! Nothing beats a bird of prey flying to you and landing on your glove. It really is an incredible experience. Anyone thinking about visiting, you will not be disappointed, and I can guarantee you will want to visit again and again and again.

Had a brilliant trip to Messingham Zoo while passing through Scunthorpe on a return trip to the North. The prices for admission, gifts, and the cafe were very reasonable and the staff were more than happy to offer a guided tour, allowing my children 5yr, 3yr and 1yr to stroke many of the animals and ask tons of questions. The zoo is tidy and clean with handwashing available after handling animals. And most importantly the animals have loads of room and are in great condition showing they are genuinely looked after. A brilliant attraction for the area and count myself lucky to have found this gem and have a visit :) Thank you Messingham Zoo!
