The Contamines ski area is located in the charming village called Les Contamines-Montjoie in the Haute Savoie french Alpes region. The ski area has two sides one in les Contamines and one in Hauteluce in the Savoie region. The ski area has a total of 46 slopes and 25 lifts. It's the perfect ski resort for family, with a good natural snow cover, with commitment for the quality of the slopes and an exceptional view on the Mont-Blanc massif.

An excellent ski area with some superb runs for a short break. We are decent skiers and boarders who like to cover 30-45 miles per day. In a couple of days we had done all the runs, but enjoyed doing the best ones over and over again for the final 2 days. It’s a quiet resort and you can often find yourselves alone on the piste. There did seem to be a decent lessons/beginner scene as well. About €44 a day including rescue insurance. You will have a good time here. Quiet village life with a decent bar next to the ski lift for apres ski. This resort does not have a large pub/club scene; probably only 2-3 bars.
