This fountain was restored in 1544 by the Marquis Pietro Antonio D'Azzia, as indicated by the emblem on the fountain's facade, retaining still memories of a Roman past. On warm summer evenings, under the protection of the stern gaze of apotropaic masks, you can still find a cool relief in its basins.
