Combine a sightseeing experience with shopping at the Capital of Cyprus - Nicosia! On this tour you get a short guided drive around the town center and after that you have 4 whole hours free time to explore the town. Spend time in the Walled Old Town Centre, within the Venetial Walls, wander in Laiki Yitonia with it's narrow streets, handicraft shops, traditional restaurants and coffee shops. Enough time is given to cross the line (also known as the "Green Line") that divides the Capital of Cyprus into the southern Greek Cypriot region and the northern Turkish Cypriot region since the Turkish invasion of 1974.

Inclusions: Professional guide, Air-conditioned vehicle, Hotel pickup and drop-off (in some cases hotel pick up and drop off may not be offered as not all hotels are accessible by coach. In such cases, an alternative pick up location will be communicated before the excursion to accommodate clients). Sightseeing cruise

Exclusions: Food and drinks, Gratuities

We visited the zoo the other day, it has most animals you could think off, they seemed well kept for the most part, a zookeeper mark allowed us to get a once in a lifetime photo with a giraffe, and you could tell he cared deeply about the animals, thought it was a great day out. We did think the monkey enclosures could be bigger and were a little on the small side, again with the birds and the ostriches. But other than that, the majority of the animals seemed to have big time enclosures and plenty of space to roam. And they are all rescue animals from what I understood, so have deffo got a better quality of life. I wouldn’t eat there though we went to the cafe which had run out of hand sanitiser when we entered, so we informed the staff, but then when we left it still hadn’t been refilled which during corona times is quite irresponsible. But if you like going to the zoo, take your own lunch and hand sanitiser and you will have a good day out ????

The tour was private and very modified due to COVID. It really was more of a driver versus a tour, we got to see everything we wanted and our driver was very pleasant - but it was an unusual tour in these very unusual times.

An amazing experience with lovely guides. We took the tour on our first day in Larnaca and it helped us to get to know the central area better. Also, Louisa provided us with a list of restaurants and traditional dishes that help us eat in good restaurants in the following days of the trip. Highly recommended, money well spent!!
