What to do and see in Lake Garda, Lake Garda: The Best Gear Rentals

February 2, 2022 Franklyn Hardiman

The largest of Italy’s fresh-water lakes, Lake Garda is located in northeast Italy. Tourists traveling here will find plenty of excursions and activities to keep them entertained year-round—everything from visiting hilly wine regions to exploring 14th-century castles. The towns and communities surrounding Lake Garda offer easy day trips from Venice, easily accessible by car or train. Major sights include the towns of Sirmione (which attracts most Lake Garda visitors thanks to its historic Rocca Scaligiera castle) and Riva del Garda (for the Varone waterfalls located nearby), as well as the region’s hills, which offer numerous hiking trails for adventurous walkers.

Great service to uplift around Garda. Lots of choice and good advice on routes although you are on your own after being dropped off. Went out 4 days to various trails and usually booked the day before. There was only one day when there were not enough booked places to go on a specific tour. We went for a “ride with Luca” which was fabulous fun, really good trails with 3000m of descent for the three uplifts provided! Good value and they even phoned us back to confirm bookings. A great service in a great location with very friendly people.

it is a wonderful experience to explore the area in a vintage car. Our guide Kathy was great! She took us to special places that are not so well known and idyllic We could concentrate on the experience of driving in a Oldtimer and enjoying the beautiful views, because our guide led us and took pictures. One of the wonderfullest places was borghetto sul muncio At the end of the trip we were surprised with a wine and regional specialties tasting We would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys classic cars and wants to experience a different kind of excursion.
