This tour exceeded all expectations. It absolutely exceeded all expectations. They were well organized and very friendly. Our guide was amazing. He was super fun and very informative. But more importantly, he was very engaging. He made the sites and information come to life. It was a long day but, he made it fun and interesting throughout. I would absolutely recommend this tour and this company. I will definitely use them again if I get the opportunity to return to Greece.

The site of Sparta is completely surrounded by major mountain ranges. In contrast to other ancient Greek cities, Sparta was not a compact fortified city-state center with monumental civic and religious buildings. It was a loose collection of smaller villages spaced over a large rural area and 6 low hills. The highest of these knolls served as the acropolis and location for the Temple of Athena Chalkioikos. In the Hellenistic period a theatre, stoa and agora were built near the acropolis but the Temple of Athena and the earlier remains at the sanctuary of Artemis Orthia on the West bank of the Eurotas are almost the only archaeological remains from Archaic and Classical Sparta. The complex of the ruins of Mystras offers the image of a city with a brilliant destiny that was deserted by men and threatened by the return of encroaching vegetation which is splitting the walls and covering the slopes, thus destroying here and there fragile traces of history. In 1989 the ruins including the fortress palace , churches and monasteries were named a Unesco World Heritage Site!Visit the mystical tower of Mystras and let yourself be captivated by this destination’s medieval splendour. Wander around the castle city and sense through the silence the city’s sheer grandeur. Stroll leisurely through the “Kastro” ( the Frankish Castle ) the Upper Town and Lower Town whose architecture creates a dreamy setting. We took a private tour with Taz. The tour included Corinth Canal, ancient Corinth, Acrocorinth and Mycenae. Taz was amazing and tailored the tour to us throughout. He was extremely knowledgeable and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It was a great tour to the classical hotsots of Greece. Due to Corona on all visited sites were only a few tourists what I never had before. The hotels were at nice places in walking distance to the city center, so that we could enjoy Greece evening life easily. Our driver did a great job and had always interesting stories about ancient history and modern Greece to tell during our journey - thank you for this experience Yanis!

My guide Vasile met me at the Acropolis metro stop, we headed to the Acropolis, and I was the only person that had signed up for a tour that day so it was a solo tour. We stopped at the Acropolis, Temple of Hephaestus, Greek Agora, Lycabettus Hill, the glass running man, and the Olympic Stadium in my half day tour. 100% worth it, got some great photos and better memories, and would happily suggest them again.

We have used the vip transfer service twice and was excellent in both instances. Firstly we were picked up from the airport. Our driver was there promptly and waited for us. Kindly offered to pick our luggages and walk us to the parking area were the fully air conditioned, spacious and crystal clean Mercedes mini bus was waiting for us. He drove us to a designers outlet nearby and patiently waited for us for 2 hours. He then drove us to Rafina port were was our last stop. On our second picked up he drove us from Lavrio port to the airport offering complimentary information about the areas were passing by on our way and we really enjoyed our chat with him and his really friendly attitude. Definitely recommended. We will use this service with great pleasure in the future. Thanks for everything.

We had the most exceptional travel experience with Personality Journeys. Both our travel agent and out travel guide (“skipper”) were fantastic! Dimitris was everything we could have looked for in a travel agent. Following the parameters we laid out for him, he provided us with the absolute best options for our travels. He was both honest and patient with us, and made sure we took as much time as we needed to finalize a trip that felt right for our group. Dimitris informed us on everything that was going on throughout our booking and travel process, so there were no surprises along the way. He answered every question we had and made sure we were prepared when we arrived in Athens. Andreas went above and beyond in his role as our skipper for the week. He was patient and thoughtful with our group, and put so much effort into making sure we had the best trip possible. We felt very safe and protected throughout all of our travels, and were taken to some of the most incredible place – places that weren’t even on our initial itinerary. Andreas’ expertise in his craft and his companionate demeanor are the reasons our trip was as fantastic as it was. I am very late with my review as my trip was in September 2019, but it was so amazing I didn't want to miss sharing it with all of you. We were on a cruise and Athens was a port of call. We hired Dennis for 7 plus hours and together we designed a fantastic itinerary. He showed me where to go to purchase tickets ahead of time and all things were a go from the moment we got off the ship. We saw everything! Dennis was helpful, polite, flexible and we were so lucky to get him to show us around the great sights of Athens. Athens is a HUGE city. If you are not in town long please take my advice and hire Tours of Athens for a PRIVATE air conditioned tour. We had plenty of time in each place and it was very very hot so having a vehicle just waiting for us was a no brainer. We had 6 people total and I believe we each around 80 euros for the entire day. Well worth it. Time is money! Thank you Dennis and I am so sorry for the late review.
