La Penita Tiangui

I visited the tianguis in La Penita back in December of 2012. Friends took my boyfriend and I around the marketplace and I found several things to my liking, including a tablecloth, woven wall hanging, and blouse. It was fun bartering with the friendly sales people.

Playa La Penita

Reviewed By YogiJuancarlos - New York City, New York

La penita is an average beach destination. Its not spectacular like some of its neighbors or has lots to offer as far as attractions go but I would say it does offer more of a Mexican experience as far as food & lodging goes. Its the type of town expats come to shop in or catch a bus to another destination. Its not a destination to go out of your way to visit, but if you happen to be in the area why not enjoy food and cold beers.

We have been using this great service for the past 3 years to transport us from the Puerto Vallarta airport to Rincon de Guayabitos. Booking our reservation online thru their website, has always been easy and any following correspondence, with Gilberto via email was answered quickly. When we arrive in PV our driver was at the entrance with our name on a sign. We made a stop at the Walmart near Bucerias along the way to get some necessities. Our driver was very professional and cautious throughout the trip. We highly recommend Jaltemba Transport.
