Meaning “place of divers,” Bucerias on Mexico’s Pacific Coast is a charming antidote to the hustle and bustle of nearby Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet the friendly locals and enjoy beautiful beaches, fantastic dining, outdoor activities and art galleries. Locals congregate in the small plaza in the center of town or head for the beach for some sun and unfettered mountain and bay views. Beyond the beaches of Bucerias, you’ll find superb dining, flea markets laden with special treasures, art galleries, and pubs. Once you’ve tired of the sun, meander through the flea market off the main plaza and tour the residential side of Bucerias, complete with boutique shopping and quality restaurants like La Quinta di Francesco and Adriatico. Some of the best art galleries in town include Splurge Art Gallery, showcasing emerging local artists and designer pewter. On Thursday evenings, participate in the local art walk, and on Sundays, visit the authentic Mexican market. From Bucerias, explore other Riviera Nayarit locations such as Savulita, Punta Mita and San Francisco – they’re all accessible by cheap, frequent bus service.

We walked in to this charming and beautiful restaurant for lunch, pausing first to enjoy the pottery and art in the streetside shop. The garden patio is lovely, the welcome was warm and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the fish tacos vey much. We'll return!

Reservación only by phone.......Thank you!!! Reservaciones solo por telefono!!!! V.I.P. Very Italian People
If you live in Bucerias lucky you to be close to this restaurant. If you live in PV, make a point of visiting Bucerias and this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is very good. These folks care about their customers and great food. We started with 2 people sharing a salad and 2 sharing a grilled vegetable platter. Those starters were indicative of the great food that would follow. The pasta is homemade and simple to order. Just pick the pasta you want and the sauce you like. Our party of 4 all had different pasta dishes, all were excellent. There are also pizzas and other classic Italian plates on the menu as well as daily specials that all looked great.
This is a new favourite for us and we happily look forward to returning.

Dugarel Play's (sic) still delivers good food, value and service. The restaurant hovers on stilts over the beach; that gives you breezes and great sunset views. Highlights of a comprehensive menu are the prawn dishes, enchiladas, Plato Mexicano and Margaritas (tread lightly). Dugarel's, unlike many restaurants here, lets in a few peddlers and musicians. For 50P the latter will provide good music right at your table. The waiters operate at mach speed, but when it's crowded you'll spend too much time trying to get their attention.. Tips: Reserve a table on the beach side, come early and order early, and be aware that the "fresh" Mahimahi is probably fresh out of the freezer.

Luna Lounge offers live music entertainment and you can choose to have their set menu prior to the entertainment, or just go for the music. The food, most grilled choices is surprising good, or at least surprised us. We listen to BohemiavivA, who are a couple from the Argentine and were very, very good.

We keep coming back here for the great food and service but also because this restaurant really reflects a traditional feel for Mexico. It is on a very quiet side street so sitting outside is perfect. There pico de gallo serves with fresh tortilla chips was great. I ordered and loved the chicken enchiladas. It was a large plate and full of flavor. My wife tried the chicken mole which she found good but a bit spicy for her liking. The margaritas are huge and fully loaded. Service was excellent and very quick. Cannot wait to come back.

This was a terrific experience. I tried the fish, shredded beef and shredded chicken tacos. They were very good. Now the pricing and quality were comparable to the tacos I get from the street vendors but that is good. I get to sit at a table, get served and I can bring my own beer and wine. Now we came on a Friday night when the had the rib special that mi wife tried. It was absolutely excellent. We were surprised to get such a great plate of ribs at this little local spot. They also gave us nacho chips and a small bowl of warm beans and fresh bread to go with the ribs. All in for both of us was about $9 US ! Cannot wait to come back

Located in the heart of Bucerias, Luna Luna has been serving delicious Mexican breakfast, brunch and lunch for nearly a decade.
We eat breakfast here at least twice a month and we live in Bucerias year round.
The setting is beautiful, the food delicious and the staff and owners very friendly and accomodating.
I recommend the sopes with potatos and chorizo, or the breakfast Sandwich. They make their own chorizo.
Coffee is excellent and so is the fresh juice.

El pastor is clearly the signature meat here and it is delicious. The variety of salsas is wonderful and my favorite was the pineapple/onion. Be careful it has a hidden kick to it.

The best traditional Fish and Chips in town! Fish and Shrimp tacos and more.. Come and try it!
Very nice sidewalk dining, just steps from our hotel. I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail which was very different from what I expected, but absolutely delicious. A warm broth contained an abundance of shrimp combined with peppers and onions and spices. My wife had the tacos (one fish and one shrimp) that she enjoyed thoroughly. Total bill with some beers was 230 pesos. Will definitely be eating there again before we leave Bucerias.

Artisan Bakery & cafe/restaurant
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Very clean and air conditioned.
Eggs Benedict, omelettes etc are served until 1:30.
We were there for lunch and had the best Beef Dip Sandwich I have ever had. The beef was excellent and the brochette very fresh. The au jus was to die for and it comes with a nice side salad. 129 pesos and worth every penny.
We’ll definately return to try their breakfast menu.
