The lake and surrounding land is so peaceful. You can hear the sound of the water, ducks and birds that are present all around you. There are a lot of places to sit and just soak up the atmosphere. A small island juts out from the lake which has a small shrine and torii gate. There are also some sturgeon ponds where you can see these grand fish that have created the 'caviar business' for Kobayashi City. This is also a place locals visit to take home the natural mineral water which can sourced near the small red bridge. I asked what the water is used for and was told its great for making coffee and cooking rice.
