Hagwilget Canyon Bridge

Reviewed By SightSeeingFeather - Hazelton, Canada

One of my favorite spots to walk or drive over. From the bridge, you get to see so much of the majesty of the area. From this vantage point, you see the mighty Rouche de Boule (Stekyoden) overlooking New Hazelton, and then Nine Mile Mountain on the opposite side. The best part by far is looking down at the Bulkley River underneath. In the summer, you might be able to catch some kayakers going down the canyon and around the bend. I recommend walking across this bridge, it is just thrilling to stand on top of a historial site.

Beautiful views of the seven sisters from here. Pretty and peaceful spot to stop. The interpretive signs and accompanying pictures are EXCELLENT and give you in-depth detail about the history of the hill. There are quite a few steps to negotiate to get to the hill.

This is the world's sweetest railway station stop! Antiques, FN art, jewelry, a nice dog at your feet ad Debbie! She knows everything about the area. Don't miss this place.

We stayed two nights in the very friendly and scenic town of Stewart BC. The boardwalk is a perfect place to view the surrounding mountains and estuary below. Must do when in Stewart.

Coghlin Park View Point

A scenic lookout provides spectacular views of the Douglas Channel from the manicured gardens of Coghlin and Kemano Parks. Gazing down the channel you may catch a glimpse of large ships coming in to the docks or one of the many smaller recreational boats dotting the water. To the east you will see the calm waters of Minette Bay. The islands and coastal mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop.
