What to do and see in Khoroshevskiy, Central Russia: The Best Shopping

May 31, 2021 Etsuko Causey

The political, scientific, historical, architectural and business center of Russia, Moscow displays the country's contrasts at their most extreme. The ancient and modern are juxtaposed side by side in this city of 10 million. Catch a metro from one of the ornate stations to see Red Square, the Kremlin, the nine domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, the KGB Museum and other symbols of Moscow's great and terrible past, then lighten up and shop Boulevard Ring or people watch in Pushkin Square.

If you're in Moscow for more than a few days I would say that this mall is a must! Not only is it enormous, but it also has a huge world record holding cylindrical fish tank right in the middle of the mall. There's a small skating rink for kids on the top floor next to the food court. I also had the best pho I've tasted in my life in the food court, place was called PhoBo.. Last thing, do not miss the grocery store in the mall. It is massive and filled with great stuff, including a ton of liquor and beer and lots of bulk candy, perfect place to buy your friends random food gifts to bring back home!
