A good place to find beautiful original antiques. Beautiful little pieces of furniture, prints, lanterns, crockery and many other things out of the ordinary. The couple who own the shop give you good advice.

Pass The Baton Omotesando

This is my new favourite shopping destination in Tokyo. If you like shopping for vintage, antiques or quirky stuff then this is the place to go. I bought two rare vintage Pez dispensers (Star Wars and Road runner) and vintage Imari ware at really reasonable prices. Stock changes regularly so it’s best if you can revisit again. The sign is on the street and then you need to go down flights of stairs to the basement but keep going, it’s worth it. There is a cafe halfway down the stairs. I’ve seen the hey also have a shop in Maronouchi and Kyoto (been to that shop too... it’s awesome). Love it...it’s a must for serious shoppers!

THE COVER NIPPON

Located inside Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, it introduces products traditionally handcrafted by artisans from all around Japan. Ranging from clothes, food and lifestyle necessities like Kimonos and Japanese sake, you’re able to feel the artisan’s passion through each and every product. Although the products vary in origin and use, there’s a unique yet beautiful harmony between them, and this harmony is what we think of as the best lifestyle we can imagine.
