Beauport Beach

This is a small beach on the southwest of the island. Easy to find if you google it. Beaches like St Brelade's are well developed and attractive to those who like this. But Beauport beach is completely undeveloped and very beautiful: one of the most lovely small beaches I have seen. I had to put a city in, and wrote St Aubin but it's a few miles from this.

Jersey War Tours

Join us on a tour and we will be your guides to a fascinating and often poignant look at the remaining traces of the dramatic occupation of Jersey during the Second World War. The tours are run by Phil and Kimberley who have been researching World War II in the Channel Islands for the past 10+ years. On our tours you will have a unique opportunity to visit German bunkers, Artillery Batteries & tunnels not usually open to the public. We use real historic artefacts and digital media to enrich the experience. Although we focus on Jerseys WWII Military History, there is no limit to beautiful scenery seen on our tours. The profit made from all our tours is used to support our sites, research projects & online database. La Hougue Bie Museum

La Hougue Bie delivers a truly memorable experience that is at once thought provoking and peaceful. The site features one of Europe's finest passage graves where you can learn about life in Jersey's Neolithic community 6,000 years ago. A medieval chapel sits on top of the prehistoric mound and dolmen dominating this tranquil and spiritual site. Unlike many other dolmens you can stand inside the chamber of the passage grave and feel the heart of this place of worship. We have a series of safety measures in place to help you enjoy your visit safely during the Covid-19 pandemic. These include a one-way system, local track-and-trace register and restricted group areas.

Greve de Lecq

Reviewed By CoventryCrusader

This place contains all the best you can find on Jersey: small harbour with a lovely coastal village, wonderful beach (one of the best on the island), fabulous views and some historical buildings (no castle here but you can find a fort nearby). If you add a pub and coffee shop where you can have a good lunch (however it is not cheap experience) everything is like the quintessence of Jersey! Even if we visited the place in rather poor weather (cludy sky and drizzling rain) we enjoyed every moment spent there.
